Cebu is known for having spectacular beaches; whether private or public, Cebu beaches will satisfy everyone’s longing for a well-deserved vacation. Some would want to splurge, but for others who want to unwind on a budget, Lambug Beach in Badian offers a beach experience at par with that of private resorts and beaches.

How to Get There

Nearest Airport: Mactan Cebu International Airport (Cebu)

By Air

  1. Coming from Manila, this is the most convenient and fastest way to go to Cebu. It will take you around 1 hour to get to Mactan Cebu International Airport. Check your preferred airline company for the flight schedule and airfare.
  2. When you finally arrive in Cebu (either via air or sea), you can take a bus (aircon and non-aircon) or a v-hire bound for Badian (P130-140) in the South Bus Terminal. Most buses have trips every 30 minutes or every hour.
  3. From Badian town proper, most commonly known as “lungsod” among the locals, you can take a “habal-habal” going to Lambug Beach (P20-30). Travel time from Cebu City is around three hours.

By Sea

  1. It will take you around 20 to 34 hours from Manila to Cebu. Check ferry schedules of Manila North Harbor.
  2. When you finally arrive in Cebu (either via air or sea), you can take a bus (aircon and non-aircon) or a v-hire bound for Badian (P130-140) in the South Bus Terminal. Most buses have trips every 30 minutes or every hour.
  3. From Badian town proper, most commonly known as “lungsod” among the locals, you can take a “habal-habal” going to Lambug Beach (P20-30). Travel time from Cebu City is around three hours.

 


Entrance Fee and Other Charges

  • Entrance Fee: Free
  • Camping Fee: Some areas are free, some have minimal fee of P100 (Exclusive of tent)
  • Cottage Rental Fee: For day trip, aside from pitching a tent, you can also pay for a cottage that can accommodate 6-10 people (around P300). If you are planning to stay overnight, lodgings/rooms are also available (starts at P500).

Don’t Miss

  • Lambug Beach is near the famous Kawasan Falls. Take a dip and revel in the turquoise pool of water or rent a raft (P300) to take you around the pool and under the cascading waters.
  • You can also go further up to get to the less crowded smaller falls or if you are feeling adventurous, jump into the milky blue water from the tip of the falls.

Don’t Forget

  • If you’re going there on a day trip, you can bring your own tent with you.
  • You can also bring your own food, but please be responsible for properly disposing of your trash/garbage.

  • Go canyoning! For those who seek extreme activity, sign up for this exhilarating adventure. The best part is the finale or endpoint of this activity, which is the Kawasan Falls, so it’s like hitting two birds with one stone. Choose only those companies that are accredited by the DOT.
