Don’t Miss

  • You can do a handful of activities during your stay such as surfing and skimboarding during the right season, swimming, and beach bumming.
  • The beach is also a good place to watch the sunset.

Don’t Forget

  • Withdraw the cash you need in Puerto Princesa City before going to the beach.
  • The shore is big enough for playing Frisbee and beach volleyball.
  • Bring your own skimboard and/or surfboard; during the right season, the waves are strong enough for both activities.
  • Bring your own snacks and drinks if you want to have a picnic on the beach, but always leave no trace behind.
  • Be extra careful during the Amihan season when the waves are too strong. A lot of drowning incidents had happened here during those months (October to February).

If You Have More Time and Budget

  • After exploring and doing activities in Nagtabon, go on a day tour to the Underground River, do a city tour, and/or book a trip for island hopping in Honda Bay.
  • If you have a few more days to spare, travel to one of the beautiful destinations in Palawan — El Nido.
