MANILA to BAGUIO Bus Schedules & Operators

Manila is hot and humid year-round, and when it gets a bit too much, especially during the dry season, city dwellers head to destinations with cooler climates. Dubbed as the Summer Capital of the Philippines, Baguio tops the list when it comes to Philippine destinations with year-round sweater weather. On top of that, Baguio also has a ton of attractions that tourists love. From classics like Mines View Park, Camp John Hay, and Burnham Park to newer attractions like the Igorot Stone Kingdom and Mirador Hill, Baguio has much to offer to those who wish to brave its hilly terrain.

Easily accessible from the National Capital Region, the City of Pines is only a mere 4 to 6 hours away from by car or by bus, depending on the traffic condition. If you don’t drive, it’s not going to be a problem because there are multiple bus companies that ply Manila to Baguio routes. You can simply head to a bus station, get a ticket, and board a bus. Some people who frequent Baguio actually prefer traveling to the cold city this way. They take a late night or early morning bus to this mountain town, sleep during the ride, and wake up just in time to be welcomed by chilly Baguio City.

If you’re thinking of visiting Baguio, here are the key Manila to Baguio bus schedules & operators to take note of.

Victory Liner – Bus Schedules & Fares

As one of the biggest provincial bus companies in the Philippines, Victory liner definitely deserves a spot in this list of Manila to Baguio bus schedules & operators. Their buses connect Manila to the provinces in Central and Northern Luzon. Among their most popular destination is Baguio City. Victory Liner has terminals in Caloocan, Cubao, and Pasay.

They have two types of buses: regular aircon and first class buses, which are point-to-point buses that have bigger seats, wider leg room, and a toilet on board. Regular aircon buses also take different routes, with one making express trips, mimicking point-to-point buses, which shortens travel significantly, and the other taking inner city trips, favoring stops within towns, which demands longer travel.

Note: This schedule is as of January 1, 2024. Make sure to double check Victory Liner’s updated schedule especially if you plan to walk in at the station. You can go to their Facebook page or call them at +632-8842-8679.
