Stationed within the Clark Freeport Zone, between the borders of Angeles and Mabalacat in Pampanga, Clark International Airport (CRK) principally serves Central and Northern Luzon. It also functions as one of the gateways to the Greater Manila Area, helping decongest the air traffic in Manila and ease the passenger volume at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
Traveling between Clark and Manila has become more convenient, thanks to point-to-point (P2P) bus services. Genesis Transport offers trips between Clark Airport and Manila via PITX, NAIA Terminal 3, Trinoma, and Cubao. Generally running this route via the Subic–Clark–Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), the bus journey takes two to three hours, depending on the traffic situation.

- Point-to-point buses will only drop you off at their designated stations. You can’t just get off anywhere you please during the trip. Ensure that you are riding the correct bus route to your destination.
- There are times when the Manila to Clark or Clark to Manila P2P bus will not depart at the exact time indicated in the schedule. This may even be true for the regular bus route. Weather, traffic, and road conditions are just some of the factors that affect the schedule.

- If you are traveling to the airport, it’s always better to allot enough (or even more) time for unforeseen events that may occur. For domestic flights, the ideal time to get to the airport is 2-3 hours before departure time; for international flights, 4-5 hours is a better ballpark figure. It is better to be early than to miss your flight.
- If your arrival or departure time falls in the wee hours of the morning, you may want to consider booking a hotel near Clark Airport. The bus company mentioned in this article does not operate 24/7. If your flight is outside its operating hours, it’s best to spend a night in Clark, just to be safe.
