Bangui Windmills
If Ilocos has one of the four Greek elements, I’d say its sign has to be “air.” Ilocos is probably one of the best places in the country to have an intimate relationship with the wind, if you know what I mean.

Then the highlight of the day was swimming in Blue Lagoon in Pagudpud. Even in swimming, we felt the wind’s strong presence. The wind was commanding the sea as if slapping us with every wave. It was a totally fun experience braving the waves and being swept meters from where we were. Pagudpud is one of the best beaches in the world and we understood why the moment we set foot on the beach. The sand was so soft, despite it being a mixture of fine sand and coarse round shells.
